Hand Stretch Films
Hand stretch wrap is commonly used to unitize pallet loads, but also may be used for wrapping smaller items together. Clear residue-free cast hand stretch film stretches up to 100%, which contributes to its excellent resistance against tearing. The easy-to-use roll increases efficiency when used with a hand-held dispenser.

Hand stretch film is a form of packaging material that is used for securing and protecting things on pallets or bundling together smaller items. It is also known as hand wrap or hand pallet wrap. Manufacturing method
Blown Hand Stretch Film
- Produced using the blown extrusion method.
- Molten resin is blown into a bubble, then slowly cooled.
Standard Stretch Film (Cast Stretch Film)
- Produced by the cast extrusion technique.
- Molten resin is poured over refrigerated rollers and immediately cooled.

Blown Hand Stretch Films:
- Higher strength and puncture resistance Perfect for wrapping uneven or sharp-edged weights.
- Higher cling Improved load retention during transportation.
- Noisy during unrolling Because of its slick surface.
- Hazy or dull appearance Reduced clarity but more effective in difficult settings.
Standard Stretch Film (Cast Film) is easier and quieter to apply.

Best use cases:
Blown Hand Stretch Film
- Use Blown Hand Stretch Film for heavy, uneven, or sharp-edged loads. When securing and wrapping canned beverages, blown stretch film is the preferred choice.
- Outdoor storage is one example of an environment that requires high endurance.
Standard Cast Stretch Film
- Standard Stretch Film is suitable for lightweight, uniform, or standard-shaped loads.
- Indoor storage or shipments when load stability is critical but not difficult.
When should vented stretch film be used?
Fresh Produce & Perishables
- Wrapping a pallet of warm apples or lettuce in regular plastic causes them to "sweat," which is a common problem.
- Vented wrap allows produce to "breathe", preventing condensation and helping to keep it fresh and free from mold or rot.
- Nursery plants can breathe with a vented wrap, reducing the risk of overheating during transportation and delivery.
Hot-fill Products
- When packaging items that are still warm, they must cool without building moisture inside of the stretch film.
